16th May - Bluebell Woods: Join with the Tree Council's "2Walk
in the Woods" national campaign and discover the beauty of our woodlands
in springtime, with a 5 miles / 3 hour walk through the woods of Oakamoor
and Cotton. Includes some steep climbs and descents Wednesday
26th May - Evening Pub Walk: Walk up a thirst with John Higgins
for a 4 mile strenuous walk from Morridge to Upper Hulme. There is a steep
uphill section just prior to the end and a drink! Monday
21st June - Midsummer Sunset: Enjoy a short walk up a moderately
steady climb from the valley of Biddulph up to Congleton Edge to enjoy
views over the Cheshire Plains on this longest day of the year. |
