Post and Packing Charges

The prices shown against items in our bookshop do not include post and packaging charges. The value shown in your shopping basket is the cost of the item or items you have selected. When you go to the checkout and confirm your purchases the cost of post and packing will then be shown as a separate additional item. You then have the option of reviewing the total cost before confirming your order.

To make it as easy as possible for you to keep track of charges for postage and packing whilst shopping we have based them upon a fixed amount per item, dependent upon the destination address. Customer feedback suggests that this system is preferable to a charge based upon weight where each item may have a different cost. We try to keep post and packing charges to a minimum so that overall they just cover our costs and we believe they are reasonable and competitive. The charges are as listed below:

The above charges have been calculated as follows:
UK destinations £0.95 for first item and £0.80 each for subsequent items on the same order.
European destinations £2.30 for first item and £2.00 each for subsequent items on the same order.
Rest of world destinations £3.50 for first item and £3.20 each for subsequent items on the same order.

Orders are despatched by Royal Mail first class post within the UK and by Air Mail to other destinations.
