Free walks for all ages with National Park Voluntary Rangers in Northumberland National Park.

Once again this summer, our Voluntary Rangers will be out and about at a number of National Park locations to share some of the knowledge and stories they have about our landscape, wildlife and history. These Voluntary Ranger led walks are free of charge and are an ideal way of getting into the great outdoors for a half day. Families and people of all ages are welcome. There is no need to book, just turn up on the day. Dogs: Only registered assistant dogs please.

Sunday 14th February 2010: A walk of about 4.5 miles distance led by Voluntary Rangers and lasting 3 hours
Start: National Park Centre, Once Brewed. Time 11.00am

Sunday 4th April 2010: A walk of about 8 miles distance led by Voluntary Rangers and lasting 4.5 hours
Start: National Park Centre, Once Brewed. Time 11.00am

Sunday 30th May 2010: A walk of about 4.5 miles distance led by Voluntary Rangers and lasting 3 hours
Start: National Park Centre, Once Brewed. Time 11.00am

Sunday 6th June 2010: Birds of marsh and moor at Greenlee Nature Reserve. Distance 2.5 miles and time 4 hours.
Start: Nature Reserve car park (GR NY 748 690).Time 9.00am
